I was expecting there to be a little bit of wind today and hoped that I'd be able to get out with my 6.m sail. The wind did indeed start picking up so I quickly riggd up and got out on the water.

Another guy from Shropshire was also on the beach and rigged a BIG board and a 5.7m sail. By the time I got on the water, the 6.3m was way too big I was going to change down to my 5.7m and a smaller board (or maybe even the 5m and wave board), but decided just to hang on and see what happened. I'm glad I did as the wind did ease a little and although I was still maxed out I could hang on comfortably in the fairly flat conditions and had a really good sail.

After a while the wind dropped even more so I called it a day. It was nice to be out in my shortie as well as it was a nice hot, sunny day.
